Blues & BBQ: Highlight of the Santee Summer Concert Series
Come out this Thursday for some real blues music and BBQ goodness.
The highlight of the free is this Thursday- the Blues & BBQ concert featuring the real deal Bill Magee Blues Band and Len Rainey & the Midnight Players.
Bring your lawn chair and some cash if you want to enjoy barbecue during the show.
The City of Santee is pushing for out-of-towners coming to the event to take the trolley to avoid parking hassles, it's about a half-mile walk from the to East, where the event is held.

The concert starts earlier and ends later than most in the concert series, going from 5:30 to 9 p.m. A late addition, local musician will be playing a short set from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. as well.
The city is even handing out Blues Brother-style sunglasses to the first 600 attendees- now that's Santee style!
