- The Xtreme Diamond Sports World Series begins at the Santee Sportsplex USA Monday at 9 a.m. with opening day ceremonies includin
- Santee City Council meeting- Wednesday at 7 p.m. city leaders will meet to discuss matters including a permit exemption for Riverview Church to hold services at the old Lacey J's building. Download the meeting agenda here.
- Healthy living events are being held at the Santee Library this week, including Think Outside the Sandwich on Thursday at 4 p.m. and Sharp Healthcare Free Health Screenings on Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Summer Concert Series- Left4Dead, the free show is on thursday at Town Center Park.
- "Summer is for Kids!" Community Event- rummage sale and more on Friday at 5 p.m., featuring the San Diego Blood Bank, KSON Radio, fire truck, police car, Kids Play area, clowns, Food, Face paint, door prizes, and Raffle Drawing.
