Represent East County on The Colbert Report's 'Better Know a District'

It would be cool if Congressperson Duncan D. Hunter, went on to The Colbert Report's "Better Know a District" in order to bring attention to our region of the country.

Santee, Poway, Ramona, El Cajon, La Mesa, Spring Valley, and many of the cities in San Diego's East County Back Country are all in . The Representative for this district is Congressperson Duncan D. Hunter. He took his fathers seat in 2009 after his father retired after being in Congress since 1981 (he held the seat for the 52nd District since 1993).

On The Colbert Report (both Ts are silent), Stephen Colbert has a reoccurring segment called "Better Know a District." The theme of the segment is to interview a Congressperson from a District in the United States. Each segment includes a little bit of history about the area, geography, demographics, and something that could only be described as weird history.

Over the course 8 seasons Colbert has interview over 75 Representatives. Recently, they created a special page on Colbert Nation (the show's website) that allows constituents to send emails directly to their representatives asking them to go on to The Colbert Report and bring publicity to their district.

I believe it would be cool if our representative to the United States House of Representatives, Congressperson Duncan D. Hunter, went on to The Colbert Report's "Better Know a District" in order to bring attention to our region of the country. Also, it would be cool to say, that is my Congressperson on TV.
