Request for 60-Day Extension
City of San Diego Planning Commission-Community Plan Amendment (CPA)
Quail Brush Genco, LLC will go before the City of San Diego Planning Commission on April 26th for the sole purpose of requesting a 60-day continuance of our pending request to initiate a Community Plan Amendment (CPA). We are asking for this continuance to give our engineers and scientists time to complete analyses focused on issues and concerns expressed by the local community.
Cogentrix Energy, LLC, the parent company of Quail Brush Genco, LLC, has a long history of responsible development and commitment to the communities it serves, and we are applying these same principles to our Quail Brush Project. We recognize that there have been concerns expressed about the Project, and we are working hard to address these issues. It is our belief that using factual information to make an informed decision is in the best interest of everyone and will help make the best long-term decision for this important Project. We appreciate the community’s understanding during this process and look forward to a continued dialogue going forward.
