If you've got some free time on your hands, like the outdoors and want to help out the community, is always looking for volunteers in many facets of the park.
The volunteer help at the lakes allows paid staff to work on crucial matters at the park. Volunteers can help in a variety of ways, including "security, trash control, maintenance, restroom custodial services and Park hosts."
According to the Santee Lakes volunteer website, volunteers may even be granted a complimentary campsite in order to park their recreational vehicle in exchange for service.
