SDSU Construction Courses Help Nail Down Careers

The Associated General Contractors of America reports that industry employment is at its highest level since 2009 and continues to grow.

SDSU’s College of Extended Studies is helping individuals get a boost on the construction career ladder by offering a wide variety of online certificate programs starting in April. These programs enable students to be better prepared to succeed at their chosen profession, learn from the experts in various fields of construction, and advance within their current trade or transition into a new career.

The online professional certificate programs include a new Civil Sitework course, along with Construction Estimating, Construction Practices, and Construction Supervisory Series. These programs are all designed to provide practical on-the-job skills that students can use right away. Online courses begin Monday, April 7, with the last day to register being Monday, April 14.
