66' Mustang Winner Drives Away in His Santee Car Show Prize

Ben Rolston said he knew right away why someone was calling him from the Santee Car Show last weekend- he won the 66' Mustang!

One big feature of the annual car show at Town Center is the classic car raffle with tickets for $20. This year's prize was this two-tone beauty with some muscle under the hood.

Rolston has been working on restoring a Firebird for years and said he is undecided on what he's going to do with the prize. He already turned down an offer to buy the car from Bob Lloyd of Lloyd's Collision & Paint Center, who had been caring for the car.

He said Mustang was an exact replica of the car "the cool kid" drove when he was in junior high school in Eugene, OR, so he was reminiscing with the car.

After the obligatory photo op, Rolston couldn't hide his joy when he revved the engine and drove away with a big smile on his face.
