Daily Dose: Toxicology Results Expected for Deceased Santee SDSU Student

Toxicology test results coming soon for a 20-year-old San Diego State student from Santee found dead Friday, local weather and more of the day's need-to-know.

Toxicology test results are pending Monday morning for a 20-year-old three days ago at a fraternity house on the outskirts of the campus. Santee Patch will publish the findings when they are made available.

Criminal justice major Barzeen Barzanji was found dead Friday morning at the Phi Kappa Theta house, where he had attended a party the night before.

Foul pay is not suspected. Barzanji graduated from in Santee in 2009.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County decreased Monday for the 25th time in 26 days, falling eight-tenths of a cent to $4.202, its lowest amount since Feb. 23.

The average price is 3.7 cents less than one week ago, 14.6 cents lower than one month ago and two-tenths of a cent below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price decreased for 19 consecutive days, rose one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday, then resumed dropping Wednesday. It has fallen 14 cents over the past 26 days, including two-tenths of a cent on Sunday.

Court

A readiness conference is set Monday for Henry Zimmeth, a Lakeside man accused of and leading officers on a pursuit -- while out on bail on an auto theft case.
