Meet Sheriff's Search and Rescue (SAR) K-9 Team Leader Pam Medhurst and her SAR beagles on June 16th at 10:30 a.m. at the Santee Library. Pam's visit is part of Read for a Reason. The program takes place every summer as part of the County Library's Summer Reading Club. Read for a Reason focuses on a different cause each year and is made possible through the sponsorship of local organizations. Customers can sign up at http://bit.ly/mO7jEO to meet reading goals which then translate to illuminated dog collars and and first-aid kits for SAR K-9s.
