Free for Kids: Sheriff's Host Bike Road‐E‐O in Santee This Weekend

The Santee Sheriff's Station is hosting a Bike Road‐E‐O. It's FREE for families who live in and around Santee.

Sheriff's Press Release

The Santee Sheriff's Station is hosting a Bike Road‐E‐O. It’s FREE for families who live in Santee and unincorporated areas of Lakeside and El Cajon.

The Bike Road‐E‐O is on Saturday, October 19th during the East County Live Well Expo from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sonrise Church, 8805 N. Magnolia Avenue, Santee.

It features a bicycle and helmet safety inspection. A quick lesson on the rules of the road is followed by a ride on a miniature “chalk street” course where children are shown where and how to apply the rules.

Sheriff’s Deputies from the Santee Station will escort the kids through the course to point out hazards and give safety tips.

Don't  forget  to  bring  your  bicycle  and  helmet.
