Holiday Happenings at the Santee Lakes This Weekend

Lighting of the biggest Christmas tree in Santee and a visit by Santa and some snow.

Santee Lakes is getting in the holiday spirit this weekend with two events that will be fun for the whole family.

Saturday at 4 p.m. the largest Christmas tree in Santee will be lit up in a joint effort by the Santee Lakes Foundation, SDSU and SDG&E. Solar panels will energize the lights on the tree and around the newly constructed pavilion at Lake One.

Christmas carolers and vendors will be in attendance, and Santee Santas will be on hand to collect donations to be distributed to needy families this season.
