Union Bank was packed Thursday evening for the 25th annual Taste of Santee holiday event benefiting the Santee Santas.
The Santee Chamber of Commerce put on the holiday event featuring food, raffles, mingling and music. Each attendee donated $5, a toy or a food item for the Santee Santas' holiday drive for needy families.
In attendance were local leaders such as Councilmember John Minto and Mayor Randy Voepel, community minded businesses like the Sportsplex and volunteer organizations like the Blue Thong Society.
Local restaurants including the soon to open Boll Weevil (about seven wees away from opening), Estrada's Mexican Food, Eastbound Bar & Grill and many others shared samplings of food.
