Andy and Anita Bautista, arguably the Santee residents that love their city the most, held their annual driveway party this week celebrating the re-election of Mayor Randy Voepel.
Normally at these parties about 100 law enforcement agents show up to eat, drink and be merry, but because of the Dorner manhunt that was underway, the CHP, FBI, CIA, Sheriff and others were unable to make it this year. So, it was a strictly Santee affair, with vistits from City employees, Voepel and his friends and City Councilmember Rob McNelis and others from around the neighborhood.
