Earth Day Celebration and Ghosthunters Explore Weekend Events

You made it to the weekend, now what? Patch found your weekend events happening April 19-21.

WEST HILLS HIGH SCHOOL PRESENTS 'SNOOPY'

  • What's Up: West Hills High School Dramakids will showcase their talent and present 'Snoopy.'
  • When: 7 p.m. on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20. 
  • Where: West Hills High School, 8756 Mast Blvd, Santee.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

  • What's Up: San Diego National Wildlife Refuge will host an Earth Day celebration with a hike and mobile environmental education station. Kids of all ages are welcome. 
  • When: 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 20. 
  • Where: Sweetwater Loop Interpretive Trail, 11979 Singer Ln, Spring Valley,
  • Price: Free. 

NATIONAL ASTRONOMY DAY

  • What's Up: The San Diego Astronomy Association and Mission Trails Regional Park will have designated viewing spots and telescopes. 
  • When: 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20. 
  • Where: Mission Trails Regional Park, 1 Father Junipero Serra Trl, San Diego.
  • Price: Free. 

SAN DIEGO GHOSTHUNTERS

  • What's Up: San Diego Ghosthunters will discuss famous haunts, ghosts, historical murders, play voice recordings and show photos. 
  • When: 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. 
  • Where: La Mesa Community Library, 8074 Allison Ave, La Mesa.
  • Price: Free. 

SAN DIEGO HARP SOCIETY CONCERT

  • What's Up: Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation Concert Series will feature three harp musicians and students from the American Harp Society.
  • When: 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 21. 
  • Where: Mission Trails Regional Park, 1 Father Junipero Serra Trl, San Diego.
