State Route 125 Closure Scheduled for Early Sunday Morning in Santee

Detour signs will be posted to reroute travelers from 3 to 10 a.m.

The connector ramps between northbound state Route 125 and eastbound state Route 52 will be shut down for several hours Sunday morning to allow a Caltrans work crew to make repairs to minor cracks in the roadway.

Detour signs will be posted to reroute travelers from 3 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, according to Cathryne Bruce-Johnson, a Caltrans public information officer. Motorists will be directed around the work site by continuing on northbound 125 to westbound 52, taking the Mast Boulevard off-ramp, and traveling to eastbound 52.

Caution is advised in the area. Drivers are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when Caltrans or other emergency vehicles are displaying flashing amber lights.
