View Finder: Special Olympics Comes to Santee

Special Olympics competition takes place at West Hills High School.

The 28th Annual Special Olympics San Diego competition took place March 12 at in Santee.  The event brought together roughly 140 athletes and 300 volunteers from all over the county and was organized by the of Division 31 and sanctioned by Special Olympics San Diego.

The nonprofit organization gives individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to pursue physical fitness and through sports training and competition.
