What's Going On in Santee: Car Raffle Special and Summer Concert Finale
Hot August Special for the raffling off a 1956 Chevy Bel Air and rundown on the final concert of the season.
The Santee Chamber of Commerce will be having their annual this year on Oct. 13th 2012, where they will be . For their "HOT August Special" they are selling 6 tickets for the price of 5. That's right if you purchase 5 tickets at $20 a piece, they will give you an extra ticket for free. Man I should have waited to buy my tickets!! Tickets are available at the office on the corner of Mission Gorge and Cottonwood or you can call (619)449-6572.
Turn out the lights, the party is soon to be over. Yes my friends, the is coming to an end. This Thursday we will have the Cat-illacs as our final band of the year. Be sure to get there early, as I am sure parking will be in short supply for this popular Oldies Rock and Roll band. The show starts at 6:30pm but you want to make sure you are there by at least 6pm to get a good seat. Remember these concerts are free!! And you are welcome to bring your own picnic dinner, or enjoy a great meal from one of the several gourmet catering trucks that will be there. I hope to see you there!!
