Santee Based Bella Luna Educational Foundation Presents The Vagina Monologues

(A third prsentation will take place on March 13 @ 2 p.m.)

Santee Based Bella Luna Educational Foundation is proud to present the 2nd annual production of The Vagina Monologues.  Last year 300 guests attended the show and we donated over $3,600 dollars to the East County Family Justice Center.  This year we have three beneficiaries, YWCA's Becky's House, The East County Family Justice Center and The Diana Gonzalez Memorial Fund. 19 year old Diana was murdered by her estranged husband on the campus of San Diego City College in October 2010.  Her family is caring for her 1 year old daughter.
 
Last year globally 255 thousand dollars was raised for the women of the Congo and the City Of Joy which is poised to open this month. This years spotlight is the women of Haiti.  Before the earthquake nearly 74% of the women of Haiti were suffering rape or battery and it has escalated in the wake of the disaster.
 
We have 12 talented, wonderful women performing this year and with your support you can help make this years event a success.  Thank you for caring about women and girls.  Thank you for loving your community.  Thank you for knowing that when women are free and safe, life itself is protected as is our future.  Thank you for joining Bella Luna Educational Foundation on this journey.
