The biggest festival yet- this year's motto: "Beer, Wine, Dine & Let the Bluegrass Shine"

More than 750 people wined and dined to the twang of the best local Bluegrass musicians around at the third annual Santee Bluegrass Festival on Saturday.

Town Center Park west was decked out hoe down style, with bales of hay for watching the entertainment, dozens of food, wine and beer tastings, and three tables of silent auction items.

Proceeds benefited the Santee Teen Center and Recreation Scholarship Program, which helps low-income residents participate in park and recreation programs.

Local bands The Tail Draggers and Box Canyon provided the live music.

It was the largest showing yet for the city's annual festival, about doubling the number of people in attendance the first year.
