Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar Coming to Santee

It looks like something Santee is missing, a wing-centric restaurant, will soon be gracing our town.

Rumors have been flying about a notice on the old Hollywood Video building, at 294 Town Center Pkwy., indicating that Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar will be moving in. We can confirm that, indeed a "Public Notice of Application to Sell Alcoholic Beverages" was put up on March 1, bearing the restaurant's name.

Santee Patch has contacted Buffalo Bill Wings corporate headquarters, and is awaiting response. We'll update soon with an idea of when the wings will be available and a better idea of what you can expect from the restaurant.

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar is a subsidiary of Blazin Wings Inc., and is one of the fastest growing restaurant chains in the U.S., opening 36 sites in the last six months, according to their website. This would be the only member of the chain in San Diego County.

They describe the restaurant as a "New York style wing joint with 14 signature sauces."

They are not simply a "wing joint," but also a full menu sports bar with burgers, salada, appetizers, TVs, a juke box, and apparently a relaxed atmosphere.
