How well do you know Santee's restaurants? Well enough to guess the venue from nothing more than a photo of the food?
I happened upon this spot recently in my reporting around town.
If you like your chili meaty, this is the place. Loaded with ground beef, a classic tomato stock, lots of cheese, pinto beans and topped with diced onion- it is not a veggie lover chili. Next time I'll try it in a bread bowl, which is optional.
