Guess the Restaurant: Meaty Chili

Which Santee eatery made this food?

The restaurant is . Santee Patch reader guessed correctly!

How well do you know Santee's restaurants? Well enough to guess the venue from nothing more than a photo of the food?

I happened upon this spot recently in my reporting around town.

If you like your chili meaty, this is the place. Loaded with ground beef, a classic tomato stock, lots of cheese, pinto beans and topped with diced onion- it is not a veggie lover chili. Next time I'll try it in a bread bowl, which is optional.

If you think you know the local restaurant this was served at, make a guess in the comments. I'll let the answer slip soon.

Hint: Search for the right place in the Patch Places directory.

Probably that crap hole Landres... Messed up my order both times I've tried. Even tried to pass a lager as an $7 IPA. Lady was so rude when I sent it back. Said they had to tap a keg..???

No one's guessed correctly so far- think outside of the box, and maybe closer to the green.

It is Carlton Oaks! Good guess Dionna, though I may have given too much away there. It was some tasty chili, next time I'll try it in the bread bowl.
