The Santee , one in a chain of Chicago style pizza parlors, closed its doors at the end of February.
It was a short run, opening in the summer with the Grand Opening party in October. The shop is bare, with the TVs, booths, taps and huge rotating oven packed away and moved out. The owners could not be reached for comment.
Santee is now down to about ten pizza specific restaurants.
This leaves another Santee storefront vacant, the 1,127 square foot shop is available for lease at 95 cents a square foot per month, according to the updated Loopnet.com property lising.
