Kaffee Meister Coffeehouse to Open at Carlton Oaks Plaza in Santee

If you've missed the at Carlton Oaks Plaza since it , you're in luck, because is moving on in.

This will be the second location for Kaffee Meister, a local, family owned business. Their first spot is a coffe bar and drive-through in Lakeside that has 4.5 out of 5 stars on their Yelp reviews.

They planned to open in late August or early September, but a lag in city inspections has pushed the opening date off a couple weeks. The coffeeshop will take up the front portion of the building that Friendly Grounds inhabited, the back rooms are being used by the Santee Wellness Center, another recent addition to Carlton Oaks Plaza.

This Santee location really solidifies Kaffee Meister as a family business, with the daughter and son-in-law now joining their parents in running the two shops.

The website says they "are ecstatic to have received such a warm welcome from so many Santee residents who are eagerly anticipating the opening."

The "" open mic night plans to return to the coffeeshop that was their home for years, we'll see what other entertainment Kaffee Meister has up their sleeves.

They even filmed a video during the over the weekend (see attached), and gave celebration attendees a taste of their coffee.
