Don't just look to Manzanita Brewing Company for beer. They'll be coming out with the first of their “SoCal Shine” and whiskeys by next month, reports SanDiego.Eater.com.
What's “SoCal Shine”? The variation on moonshine is equal parts vodka and rum, head distiller Jake Pittman said in the report.
The whiskey is expected next year and will include a rye. The distillery arm of the brewing company is also working on a vodka and a rum, and look out for limoncello, an Italian lemon liqueur.
So craft beer is the trend of choice now? Manzanita President Jeff Trevaskis notes in the report that craft spirits may be the next big thing. So get ready.
