Phó Ca Dao Vietnamese Restaurant Opens in Santee

A new restaurant, Phó Ca Dao, specializes in the popular Vietnamese noodle soup.

A new Asian restaurant, , specializing in the popular Vietnamese noodle soup, opened last week in the heart of Santee.

It opened in the buidling that used to house , at 9535 Mission Gorge Road.

This is a great sign of revitalization for a strip mall that has lost three businesses in the last year; moved and both and closed after a year or less of opening.

Phó Ca Dao has two other locations in San Diego County and has four star (of five stars) Yelp reviews at each location. The banner on the building describes the restaurant as "Rice noodle beef soup and grill" and "Your neighborhood Phó & Grill."

This signature meal is Phó, a Vietnamese soup that features noodles, some vegetables, and usually some form of meat.

It will be the third Phó restaurant in Santee, joining , which opened off of North Magnolia Avenue in late 2010, and near .
