Conroy's Flowers Remodel: New Name, Same Fresh Blooms

Q&A with the owner of the now co-branded 1-800-Flowers|Conroys in El Cajon.

Just in time for the holiday season, Conroy's Flowers (now known as 1-800-Flowers|Conroys) celebrated a grand re-opening over the weekend kicking off the store's co-branding with 1-800-Flowers.

Conroy's has been at 1303 Broadway in El Cajon for 33 years, and the new name comes with a remodel of the entire store and several new arrangements. The store gets their flowers fresh from farms in north county San Diego almost on a daily basis.

1-800-Flowers|Conroys owner, JB Sajnani, said he's delighted to provide hand delivered floral arrangements to local residents for all occasions from birthdays and “Just Because,” to weddings and special events to help his customers express themselves perfectly to the important people in their lives.

Sajnani answered a few questions about the store:

Q.
Is this grand re-opening a new affiliation with 1-800-Flowers for this store?

A. Although we have been affiliated with 1-800 Flowers for over 15 years (1-800-Flowers is our franchisor), we are thrilled to announce to the community that we have officially co-branded the store.

Q. Why make the change and how will the store be different from before?

A. The co-branding is done so that we can leverage the most recognized brand name in the industry and largest floral franchise, 1-800 Flowers, in addition to combining it with the brand image of Conroy's Flowers.

Q. How long has Conroy's been in business?

A. Conroy's Flowers has been at this location for almost 33 years (since 1980).

Q. What's your favorite flower? Best suggestion for holiday arrangement?

A. My favorite flower seems to change with the evolving trends and new arrangements. In honor of Pantone's color of the year for 2014, I will have to say it's the orchid. As for holiday arrangements, we have several new ones for the upcoming season, including the truly original Santa Paws, One Dog Open Sleigh, Fields of Europe for Christmas, Traditional Christmas Centerpiece and more! You'll have to come visit us at the store for additional suggestions.

Q.
Anything else you would like to share about the co-branding or remodel?

A.
We aim to deliver smiles through truly original arrangements, fresh products at reasonable prices and excellent customer service. Because of the proximity to flower growers in north San Diego county, we get our flowers fresh from the farms almost on a daily basis. We have recently re-modeled the entire store, and have also introduced several new and exciting arrangements.

Through this Grand Re-opening we don't only want to showcase our re-modeled store and unique, new products, but to connect with our local community so that they can rely on us to help them express themselves perfectly for the holidays, special occasions and just because moments!
