Santee Bevmo! Announces Opening Date and Events

BevMo! the specialty beverage retailer, will open its newest San Diego area store in Santee located at 9755 Mission Gorge Road next to Rite Aid, on Friday, October 19 at 9 a.m.  As the 123rd BevMo! serving California, Arizona and Washington, the new 9,500 square foot location will feature a selection of more than 1,900 wines, 1,700 spirits, 1,850 beers and hundreds of gourmet food items, cocktail mixers, glassware, bar accessories and more.

“As our second store to open in the last month in San Diego County, we’re happy to provide our customers on the east side the convenience of a Santee store,” said BevMo! CEO Alan Johnson.

“Just like we did in Chula Vista, we’ll kick off the grand opening with a $50 goody bag giveaway to the first 500 people in line. Doors open at 9 a.m. – so be sure to arrive early, bring your friends, and join in the neighborhood celebration.”

There will be in-store events and demonstrations on opening day and throughout the weekend, including tastings from popular brewers and vineyards like Coronado Brewing, Left Coast Brewing, Wilson Creek Winery, Fratelli Wines, and South Coast Winery. In-store demonstrations from major spirit brands such as Ballast Point Spirits, El Agave Tequila, and Grey Goose Vodka will also be available.

The new store in Santee will offer goody bags valued at $50 to the first 500 lined up before the store opens at 9 a.m. Each goody bag will include a number of fabulous BevMo! specialty items such as a Go Vino wine glasses, TrueTap Corkscrew, gourmet snacks, MIXT White Chocolate Martini Mixer, and a cocktail shaker.
