Santee Unemployment Rate Remains Steady and Relatively Low

New job data for March has been released, and Santee unemployment rate remains steady and low.

In March, San Diego County's ticked up .1 percent, while Santee's remained steady .

Santee's March unemployment rate stands at 8.5 percent and has remained steady within .1 percent since the fall of 2010. Santee's rate remains tied with La Mesa as the lowest in East County and counts amongst the lowest countywide.

San Diego County's unemployment rate went from 10.3 percent in Jan. to 10.1 percent in Feb., and now stands at 10.2 percent.
