Wings-N-Things Opening in Santee in November Will Bring 30 Jobs to Town

For chicken wing lovers in Santee the question will soon be: Wings-N-Things or Buffalo Wild Wings?

The market for chicken wings is getting hot in Santee! Wings-N-Things will be opening a location along Mission Gorge Road in November, the second wing focused restaurant to come to town this year.

A Wings-N-Things representative said the Santee restaurant should be open sometime in November and will provide 25-30 jobs. It's opening in the Marketplace at Santee shopping center (9300 block of Mission Gorge Road) at the old Roots Community Kitchen location.

In addition to chicken wings, they said homemade breadsticks and San Diego craft beers will be served. See the menu here.

"We already have a great customer base in Santee and because of the customer demand we're opening up closer to them," the representative said.

With 15 locations already in the San Diego area, the Santee spot will make 16, and is part of the chain's expansion throughout the county. Wings-N-Things is a San Diego-based company.

The other chicken wing competition in town will be Buffalo Wild Wings, which opened at Town Center earlier this year.
