An Interesting FACT.

About a month ago I was doing some research on Politicians in San Diego County at the Assessors office in El Cajon. And this is what I found. In researching our newly re-elected Assemblyman Mr Jones I came up upon some interesting facts. Apparently Mr Jones had stopped making his mortgage payments on his Santee Townhome since the middle of 2011. Numerous recording since then by B of A agents showed that Mr Jones along with his wife were initially non responsive to good faith efforts to contact them. No one seemed to have noticed from either party that the fiscally "responsible" legislator was anything but. Now I can understand if someone has hardship,and thousands did. But this was a 240k loan. And he makes over 100K a year. So he could service the loan easily but he obviously made a strategic choice to walk away.And in the end, on 1-2-2013 Mr and Mrs Jones signed a Deed in Lieu of Trust to B of A, in exchange for $10.00. VERY disappointing to say the least.
