April Pools Day Drowning Prevention Event Planned at Santee YMCA

Join the Santee Fire Department at the pool to receive CPR Training and see how the Firefighters and YMCA Staff work together.

This Saturday April 27, from 9 a.m. to noon Drowning Prevention Month will kick-off at the Cameron YMCA/Santee Aquatic Center with April Pools Day.

Santee Fire Chief Robert Leigh shared this message:

"Come and join the Santee Fire Department at the pool to receive CPR Training and see how the Firefighters and YMCA Staff work together in preventing and reacting to a drowning event, should one occur. The event is open to all ages and the weather is forecast to be sunny and in the high 70s here in Santee.  Come down, have fun and prevent drowning!"
