Cheapest Gas in Town

Know where to save money at the pump.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County declined today for the 16th consecutive day, dropping four-tenths of a cent to $3.715, the lowest amount since Feb. 25.

The average price is 3.7 cents less than one week ago and 9.6 cents lower than a month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. However, it is 57.8 cents higher than a year ago.

“As the cheaper crude oil makes its way through the refining process and into gas stations, we’re continuing to see pump prices drop,” said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
