Santana High Senior awards ceremony, GUHSD board meeting, and news about county house sales dropping 14 percent compared to last year.

1. The Grossmont High School District is tonight at 7 p.m. The board will be recognizing many students and for academics and athletics (see board agenda in the media box).

3. The number of and condominiums sold in May in San Diego County dropped sharply compared to the same month last year, and median prices also tumbled, the San Diego Association of Realtors announced Wednesday. The number of single-family homes sold in May 2011 was down 13.8 percent from May 2010, according to association statistics. Condominium sales dropped 19.5 percent in the same period.

4. Clouds have moved in for the week. According to the National Weather Service, you should expect them to stick around through mid morning with a gradual clearing in the afternoon, with temperatures remaining between 53 and 73. Expect the clouds to roll back in during the night, with a chance of fog after 11 p.m.
