Enjoy a Bright Valentine's; Rain is Coming

Expect night and morning fog through tomorrow, and rain by Wednesday.

Clear skies and highs in the 70s this weekend gave us the kind of weather the rest of the country envies this time of year. With patchy fog, cooler temperatures and a bit of rain on the way, however, we can expect a return to normal “winter” conditions.

About that rain—we’re likely to see it by midweek and can plan on it to hang around for a few days, probably even into the weekend. So, keep your umbrellas handy and remember to drive safely.

Here’s how the week is looking to shape up:

The National Weather Service is forecasting patchy fog through Tuesday, in the mornings before 10 a.m. and tonight after 10. Monday, expect clouds, calm winds, a high near 65 and a low of 51.

You can expect similar conditions Tuesday, but add a slight chance of rain. There’s a high near 66 and a low around 54 forecast.

Wednesday it is likely to rain. There’s a 60 percent chance being forecast. Expect a high of 61 and a low of 53.

Showers will probably continue Thursday and temperatures will be even cooler, with a high of 55 and a low of 45.

Friday, expect clouds and a chance of showers. The high will be near 55 and the low around 48.

It will continue to be cloudy with a chance of showers Saturday, with a high about 55.
