First Day of Spring Brings Spring Showers

Chance showers visit Santee this first day of spring, and continue throughout the week.

How appropriate- spring showers are expected to come and go this first day of spring, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

NWS predicts a 40 percent chance of showers in Santee during the day Monday, which has already manifested, so now it's question of how much rain will come. This changes to a 30 percent chance Monday night, and it will remain rather chilly with a low of 44.

Tuesday, the chance of rain still remains, though it drops to 20 percent, and will likely clear up, though remian cloudy by Tuesday night, according to the NWS.

Wednesday is one of the only days this week that the NWS predicts the sun will play a predominate role. Though, Wenesday night also brings a prediction of a 40 percent chance of rain.

Thursday should be partly sunny during the day, but Thursday night and Friday there is a chance of rain as well, according to NWS.
