A "" article from Dec. 2010 revealed that the original developer, Pacific Homes International, went bankrupt and the unfinished homes sat on the lot for more than a year. The city then marketed the property to another buyer, TAAG Investment Management.

There will be 28 townhomes available in the complex once construction is completed, with nine that are ready to move-in now. They said three had already been reserved and 16 more homes would be ready in "phase 2," which is shortly coming.

Las Brisas homes have two-story floor plans in four designs that range from approximately 1,356 to 2,270 square feet, including three and four bedrooms and up to three and one-half baths.

The HOA fees are $297 per month, which includes water and trash.

The company operating Las Brisas is the same that manages the on the west end of Mission Gorge Road.
