Martin Luther King Jr. Day Closures
It's a holiday and most government offices and services are closed, but the parks are wide open!
• In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a good deal of government offices and services are closed on Monday, Jan. 17.
• Santee City offices, including , Santee elementary and High Schools, the and other County libraries, City recreation centers and pools are closed.
• and the Visitors' Center will be open, along with Balboa Park, San Diego municipal and other County parks are open. It's a great day to roam a park!

• Trash will be collected on a normal schedule, and trolleys and buses are running.
• State and federal offices, including courts, will be closed, as well as the Santee Sheriff's Station. Sheriff's deputies will be roaming the streets, and all emergency servces are active, it's just the station that is closed to the public.
