Santee McDonald's will offer customers free McCafé Shakes for three days.
The shakes—which are sold in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry—received an upgrade and are now served with whipped cream and a cherry on top, according to a press release by the fast-food chain.
The free shakes will be offered in Santee and across the county from Thursday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The shakes are being added to McDonald's beverage line of McCafé drinks, which includes lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, frappés, hot chocolates and smoothies.
More than 90 percent of McDonald’s San Diego restaurants are independently owned and operated by local franchisees.
