Name Released of Marine From Santee Killed in Car Crash
The name of a Santee Marine in Twentynine Palms killed in a car accident was released.
The name of a from Santee killed in a car accident in Twentynine Palms was released today.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department is reporting that Donald Fowler III, 27, was headed west on Highway 62 when his car veered off the roadway at high speed near Chadwick Road. Fowler's vehicle rolled after hitting an embankment and he died at the scene.
A passenger and fellow serviceman was taken to Desert Regional Hospital, admitted in stable condition and released on Tuesday.

The coroner's office indicates that speeding may have been a factor in the accident, but it is still under investigation.
