The has been a Santee tradition since the city's inception, an outstanding mentoring program for young women and a wonderful community service.

From the 1980 Miss Santee Loretta Giese to , and including Miss Teen Santee, see a pictorial history of the pageant in the gallery above.

The joint Miss Santee and Miss La Mesa Pageant 2012 will be held this Friday at Sonrise Community Church- it's always a fabulous show open to the public where young women earn the opportunity of a lifetime to be the official hostess for their city.
