CARLTON OAKS GOLF & RESORT REMODEL GRAND OPENING

  • What's Up: Tour the just completed first phase of the Carlton Oaks remodel, which includes new 52 lodge rooms, new pool area, lobby, wedding sites, the Oaks Bar & Grill and 18 new greens. All sorts of fun activities and food for the family!
  • When: Noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 9.

GUIDED NATURE WALKS 
  • What's Up: Trail guides will take walkers through 90 minute walks through various trails. 
  • When: 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 or 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 9.
  • Where: Mission Trails Regional Park, One Father Junipero Serra Tr., San Diego. 
  • Price: Free. 
SOLAR 101 FOR HOMEOWNERS WORKSHOP
  • What's Up: Are solar panels right for your home. Learn the answer to that question and other topics including technology, rebates, incentives and more. 
  • When: 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8. 
  • Where: Cuyamaca College, 900 Rancho San Diego Pkwy., El Cajon. 
KIWANIS JUNIOR OLYMPICS 2013
  • What's Up: Come down to the Santana High School track the morning of June 8 TO cheer on our local school kids in this great day of competition!
  • When: 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 8. 
  • Where: Santana High School, 9915 N Magnolia Ave.
  • Price: Free. 
'SUNDAYS AT SIX' SUMMER CONCERT: THE DESTROYERS
  • What's Up: Sunday at Six Summer Concert series will kick off with the southwest rock band, The Destroyers.
