Hike with a Ranger to McGinty Mountain Peak!

For a good workout and beautiful views,
hike to the peak of McGinty Mountain at 2,160 feet on the San Diego
National Wildlife Refuge with a USFWS Interpretive Ranger.  This hike is a 1,280 elevation climb, 4.8
miles round trip, and steep, so only intermediate and experienced hikers are
encouraged. Bring water, very sturdy hiking shoes, and walking sticks if you
have them.

Meet at the Jamul Drive Trailhead, between Lyons Valley Rd. and Steele Canyon Rd.
