Show Support for a Santana Alum, Cassie's Bricks 4 Lymphoma

Cassie (Lamb) Sulfridge, class of 2003, suffered a stroke followed by a diagnosis of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in July. Help her fundraise for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Santana alumni are showing support for one of their classmates that is fighting cancer by donating and becoming virtual builders in Cassie’s Bricks 4 Lymphoma fundraising event for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Cassie (Lamb) Sulfridge, class of 2003, suffered a stroke followed by a diagnosis of stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma this summer just following her 10-Year high school reunion.

"Cassie has completed 7 of 8 rounds of high dose inpatient chemotherapy. She is fighting the lymphoma and, per her medical team, she is winning. Her final round of chemotherapy will be complete on January 2nd and the expectation is that she will be cancer free," her mother said.

Bricks 4 Kidz goal is to establish a new fundraising tool (brick build competitions) that can be used successfully by LLS and other charities in the future. They are organizing a similar event, Bricks 4 Cranio, in May in Santee, to benefit Rady Children's Hospital.

"Cassie is a wife, daughter, mother, sister and friend to many. She is a social worker at Bartlett Hospital in Juneau, Alaska, a Petty Officer First Class in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, an alumna of University of Southern California and Armstrong Atlantic State University, Tri-Sigma sorority sister, and so very much more. Our family wants to pay it forward. We are so very thankful that Cassie, who suffered a stroke at the age of 28 followed by a diagnosis of stage 4 non-hodgkin's lymphoma last July, will be able to celebrate many more holiday seasons with us."

Bricks 4 Kidz is an Preschool and after school program that's new to Santee. Kids are able to build unique creations, play games, and have fun using LEGO® Bricks. All registration and program information is available on their website.
