Join Santee Youth 4 Solutions for a free one day workshop on leadership skills, community change, youth action and advocacy. Tuesday, August 28, 2:30pm to 6pm at Santee Teen Center, 9310 Fanita Parkway, at Santee Lakes. Young, energetic professionals and volunteers will lead communications, action research, and team building activities. Youth will discuss the role that alcohol and drugs play in Santee. Learn how youth-led change can shape the future of your community. The skills you will learn can help foster professional development. Become a part of this new youth movement for positive change. Santee Solutions is a community coalition dedicated to reducing underage drinking, drug and tobacco use amongst Santee youth. We work with youth, community leaders, law enforcement, parents, community members, as well as other community leaders to ensure a safe environment for youth in Santee.
