John T. Fleming died August 19 at his Santee home after a long battle with cancer, according to UT San Diego. He was 73.
Fleming worked as a teacher and principal at the Santee School District
A native of Honolulu, HI, he graduated from El Cajon High School and SDSU.
He is survived by his many family members, including his wife of 48 years, Colette.
