Lois Mary Corbett Dies at 91; Lived in East County for 64 years
She was an artist, writer, actress, director and volunteer.
One-time Santee resident Lois Mary Corbett (Davenport) passed away September 10 at age 91, according to UT San Diego.
Born in Russell, Canada, she grew up in White Bear Lake, MN. In 1948 she joined her husband in San Diego County, living in Santee, La Mesa, El Cajon and Lakeside over the years.
Lois enjoyed theater, participating in more than 50 plays as an actress, director, producer, writer and even creating costumes. She was also an avid volunteer.

A private celebration of her life will be held at Santee Lakes on Nov. 11.
