Volunteer at SANTEE EQUESTRIAN CENTER (2 HOURS )

We need help with horse stalls mucked, horses turned out, grooming (or whatever other jobs we have on any particular day, ie: weeding).
NO PAY, but we trade your help for being around our horses. We have Full Size HORSES and MINIS.
Riding is reserved for AUXILIARY MEMBERS AFTER 90 days when you have learned our needs and proven your desire to assist with large animals.
Excellent opportunity for STUDENTS in VET ASSIST PROGRAMS.
Also, a great opportunity for someone who has the time and energy to help and wants to be around horses at a 50 year established equestrian facility. Experience not necessary but you will work your bottom off.
Anyone who has a tendency to be lazy need not apply.......we expect 2 hours per day.
MINIMUM of TWO DAYS PER WEEK.
You will get fit, lose weight, so many perks. Trial period is necessary to see if YOU ARE RELIABLE and if the horses (and us) actually LIKE YOU. It all depends on your work ethic.
Must be personable, soft spoken and friendly. Also, you must be punctual.
DAYTIME Hours are 9:00AM to 11:00AM or NOON, on the days assigned. Sometimes beyond.
EVENING FEED DUTIES 5:00PM to 7:00PM.
Morning and Evening schedule is M/T/W/Th/F/Sa/Su,
