Authorities Seek Violent Fugitive Known to Frequent Spring Valley

Edward Hernandez Lozano, 23, is considered armed and dangerous.

The San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force is asking for the public's help in locating a missing felon with a history of violence and weapons possession. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department says Edward Hernandez Lozano is considered armed and dangerous. There is an award of up to $1,000 for information leading to his arrest.

Lozano, 23, is wanted on three felony warrants. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, attempted robbery, and weapons possession. He is also facing a domestic violence charge.

The sheriff's department says Lozano has committed violent crimes in multiple jurisdictions, and is known to frequent Spring Valley and the East County area.

Officials warn the public that if Lozano is seen, they should dial 911. Due to his violent history, he should not be approached.

Lozano is 5-feet 10-inches tall, and weighs 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities:

—Anonymous tipsters can also report information online using the Crime Stoppers Online Tip Reporting site

There is a reward of up to $1,000 in this case.
