Barona Murder Suspect to be Arraigned Tuesday

A 19-year-old is alleged to have shot El Capitan High School student Christopher Carioscia to death. The teen's body was found near San Vicente Reservoir.

is expected to hear the charge against him in court Tuesday in the , 17-year-old Christopher Carioscia.

Homicide detectives arrested Lloyd Jr. at his Lakeside home on Quincy Canyon Road at about 6:30 a.m. Friday, according to the Sheriff's Department.

The relationship between the two teens and any motive for the killing have not been disclosed by authorities.

Christopher went missing Oct. 26, after telling his mother he was going surfing in Pacific Beach. The next day, his burned-out car was found on the Indian Reservation adjacent to the south of Ramona.

On Dec. 4, detectives found Christopher's body near San Vicente Reservoir. An autopsy showed he had been shot with a .357-caliber pistol, most likely a revolver. A plastic bag containing the type of bullets that killed Christopher was found near his body.

According to court records obtained by The San Diego Union-Tribune, Lloyd Jr. pleaded guilty in January to a misdemeanor charge for accidentally shooting a woman in the legs with a shotgun at his cousin's house a year earlier.

Lloyd Jr. is due to appear Tuesday in Dept. 2 of the El Cajon courthouse.
