Bus Carrying West Hills Cheerleaders Rear-Ended After Football Game in El Centro
Three girls were sent to the hospital as a precaution after multiple cars hit their bus at a border patrol checkpoint.
A bus carrying cheerleaders from West Hills High School was rear-ended Friday coming home from a football game in El Centro, with three girls sent to the hospital as a precaution.
10News reported that the bus was stopped on westbound Interstate 8 at a Border Patrol checkpoint in Campo when it was hit by multiple cars around 11:30 p.m.
The cheerleaders were returning from a football game at Central High School where the Wolf Pack won 27-13.

The cheerleaders returned to school at about 1:45 a.m. on a different bus. The hospitalized girls were "OK"and released after being checked out, according to the Grossmont Union High School District. Westbound I-8 was closed for nearly two hours.
